ARTICULATION WITH LOGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLThe last couple of weeks have been time well spent with our neighbors from Logan Elementary School. Mr. Ochoa, Principal at Logan ES, took time to come and share about the many exciting things that are happening at the school and the reasons for their 100 point API gains over the last two years. He shared about their Literacy Campaigns, upcoming Health Fair, and other exciting school programs. In addition, our teachers had the opportunity to visit classrooms, share teaching practices, and discuss student achievement at Logan ES. In turn, the Logan ES teachers joined us on a walk and tour of the campus to see what children are learning at the pre-kinder level. As the articulation grows between the two schools, we know that our community will be the benefactors of increased student achievement.
