Our classroom is implementing the STEAM Program. Children become engineers and follow a 3 step process when they are finding a solution to a problem. The children in our classroom explore deeply to understand the concept. Students are using different materials to create and improve their design.
The kids worked together to build a town and problem solved on how to get people across the rivers. Utilizing the 3 step process on how to be an engineer. They found a problem or a need. Then they imagined and planned on how to solve it. Lastly, they created solutions to fix the problem and put them into action. This project was completed with teamwork and using STEAM skills.
